Hey Penny! I was wondering if there was any open gym or anytime for me and a couple of high school cheerleaders to have tumbling class this Wednesday? Let me know please! Miss you all!

Hi Megan! If you want to schedule a private lesson, give me a call... you can also come in to Coach B's tumbling class from 4 - 5 on Wednesdays (it's a level 4/5 class). We miss you too!

We have Tryouts scheduled September 5 and 6.  but you are welcome to come in before then if you want to!

You do not have to tumble to be on our teams, we have beginner level to advanced cheer teams. Give us a call (756-2131) or email me (PCACoachPen@aol.com) and we will be happy to give you more information!

Do you have to know how to tumble to be on a team? And how often are practices because I have dance classes too

We have teams for beginner level tumblers, so no, you do not have to know how to tumble. Our cheer teams practice two days a week. Times and days depend on the team you are on. I emailed you too.. but give us a call if you have any other questions!

Power Cheer

This is to the PCA Cheerleader asking about sponsorships to pay for cheer ... Definitely get the sponsorship letters and promote yourself to family, friends, local businesses and places you go to often. It\'s worth it! My daughter has raised $985.00 so far in sponsorships. Go for it and Just ask! You\'ll be surprised at how generous people are and how they want to support you. Good Luck!

Thank you for that advice!

Power Cheer

My daughter and I are new to Power Cheer this year and I want to say I am really impressed! Not only with the coaches but with the family atmosphere! I have also been impressed with the way Ms. Jen and Ms. Tameka run the front desk, sizing, etc. You Go Ladies! Ms. Penny, Power Cheer is great and I'm am so happy my daughter is part of your family! Go Puma's! I just know you all are going to have an exciting and successful year!

Thank you so much!! We know Jen and Tameka are amazing, but we LOVE to get the compliments!! It is great parents like you that make it this gym home!

Power Cheer

Coach Penny made a comment to some parents last night and I wanted to say that I agree whole heartedly with you. You constantly use humor to make practice fun and to get the girls to correct mistakes and through that, the girls are not only REALLY enjoying cheer, but they are learning to take criticism and laugh at themselves. I think this is a great life lesson! Cheer for us has become so much more than cheer, it is truly teaching and shaping my daughter to become a confident, respectful and light hearted individual and I can't thank all the coaches and Power Cheer for that!

Thank you! It is always nice to hear from our amazing parents!! We love our girls and we love that we are teaching great life lessons!!!

How Advanced do kids have to be to go to this school?

You don't have to have ANY experience to be a part of Power Cheer! We take kids as young as 2 years old and up to 18, no experience is required to participate on our teams.....However, if you do have past cheer, dance or gymnastics experience, then we have more advanced teams that require tumbling. Either way, our teams travel and compete and our athletes will learn what skills they need to be competitive at THEIR level!

Give us a call if you would like more information! 386-756-2131

PCA

To the mom asking about drama, My daughter has been part of the PCA family for 8 years. While there will always be some drama when you get a bunch of girls together, it does not last long. The coaches and the staff won't tolerate it. We are a family and we all support each other 120% My daughter still has "cheer sisters" that have left the gym to go to college. She has literally grown up with the girls in the gym. Come check us out. I promise you will LOVE it. You and your child will be welcomed with open arms

Thank you!!

its really difficult for my mom to pay the fees to cheer at this gym and she knows i don't want to quit because she cant pay, do you have a sponsorship letter i can hand out to get some donations to help pay for my season?

YES! We do fundraisers every month and we have offered the sponsorship letter each month too! Make sure you are reading your newsletters and getting involved in all the fundraisers... you can raise a lot of money if you participate!

Trust the Testimony!

"We couldn't be happier. Our daughter loves cheer thanks to PCA! You may join thinking they will just learn about cheer but you leave with life lessons and lifetime friendships. Truly there isn't a better gym around. You won't find the kind of commitment, devotion anywhere else. PCA truly does become family."

"The best cheer program in town!!"

"So impressed by this Gym! Penny is very professional & all the coaches are so nice! They welcomed my little girl with open arms & immediately made her feel like she belongs here! We are so excited for this new season & I can’t wait to watch my daughter grow as an athlete doing what she loves to do!"
