Hi I used to cheer for you guys and am interested in coming back it was about 4 years ago. I cheered for 3 years, I had Dominic as my coach and then Amy for the next two years. That upcoming 4th year I was supposed to be on thundercats. I see that you guys have got new team names. I can still do a backwalkover, frontwalkover, cartwheel, and a roundoff. I used to be able to do a backhandspring. And so I was wondering what team level thundercats was and would I still be on that same team level, the thing is that I am afraid to do a backhandspring but I can still do one, and I know how to, maybe after someone spots me a couple times. If someone is spotting me I can do it, it's just that im afraid to. So what I would like to know is would I still be on the same level as thundercats. And I also would like to know what team level thundercats is. And what is thundercats new name is? And when do tryouts start for next year?

ThunderCats is a Junior level 2 team. We would have to work with you to see if you could have your backhandspring by competition time, but we would love to have you come in! Our tryouts are not until May of next year.. if you are thinkging about waiting until then, we strongly recomend having you start tumbling classes now.

What level cheer teams do you plan on having right now?

We set our team levels at tryouts in May. This year, we will have a Mini level 1, Youth level 1, Junior level 2, Junior level 3, Senior level 4.2, and a Senior level 4. We also have three dance teams.

soooooooooooo what do you need to look for in a level 5 cheerleader like their skills and techniques and tumbling all that stuff

We do not currently have a level five team.

For most gyms, If you are interested in competing at level 5, you would need a minimum of a triple toe touch standing tuck, standing series to full and roundoff backhandspring full. You would also need to have at least level 4/5 stunt experience.

If you meet these requirements and are interested in finding a good gym, email us ~ we would be happy to refer you to some of our friends that own gyms with fantastic level 5 teams!

Good Luck!!

Trust the Testimony!

"We couldn't be happier. Our daughter loves cheer thanks to PCA! You may join thinking they will just learn about cheer but you leave with life lessons and lifetime friendships. Truly there isn't a better gym around. You won't find the kind of commitment, devotion anywhere else. PCA truly does become family."

"The best cheer program in town!!"

"So impressed by this Gym! Penny is very professional & all the coaches are so nice! They welcomed my little girl with open arms & immediately made her feel like she belongs here! We are so excited for this new season & I can’t wait to watch my daughter grow as an athlete doing what she loves to do!"
